The International Rwanda Youth for Development (IRYD) is a forum of alternative and independent young people whose mission is to strategically inspire young Rwandans and African descendants in Canada and around the world to get involved in the economic development of their country and their host country, Canada. Over the next three (3) years, IRYD intend to serve as an anchor for young Rwandans in Canada and around the world. The organization wishes to lead in bringing awareness and promoting Rwanda to young Rwandans in Canada and around the world. Aware of the complexity created by working in silos, IRYD intends to increase its efforts to encourage the various contributors to share and convey the following values: Inclusion, living in harmony, sharing, integration and economic development.
IRYD was co-founded by Moses Gashirabake and Jaures Habineza, two young Rwandan-Canadian entrepreneurs passionate about the development of their countries through engaging youth in development-oriented topics. IRYD is officially registered as a non-profit organization in the province of Quebec in Canada.
